The International Academic Printmaking Alliance (IAPA), founded in 2016 by the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, has become a fundamental platform for global printmaking exchange and development. Through its biennales and academic symposiums, the IAPA has fostered dialogue between diverse cultural contexts, strengthened printmaking education worldwide, and contributed significantly to the advancement of the medium.
In 2024, the Fifth IAPA Printmaking Biennale and Academic Symposium, titled “Everchanging Technology and Everlasting Printmaking,”took place from October 17 to November 17, 2024, at the Xi’an Art Museum in Shaanxi Province, China.
In recognition of my professional records, I have been specially invited by the IAPA to participate as an artists and guest expert, an honor that reflects both the international scope of the event and the ongoing relevance of contemporary printmaking practices.
